Architectural Glass in Education

Proto Glass Studios has extensive experience delivering bespoke architectural glass for educational environments, including schools, colleges, universities and libraries. Working in collaboration with artists, architects and design teams, we create integrated glass artworks that respond to the identity, values and context of each institution.

Our projects range from feature glazing and entrance installations to internal screens, balustrades, wayfinding elements and sculptures. Designs often draw on themes of learning, discovery and local heritage, using imagery, pattern and light to enhance the educational setting and create engaging, inspiring spaces for students and staff.

We understand the specific requirements of education projects, including durability, safety and ease of maintenance. Using techniques such as screen printing, kiln forming and lamination, we produce robust glass installations that meet relevant building standards while maintaining a high level of artistic quality.

From concept development through to fabrication and installation, Proto Glass Studios provides a collaborative and technically informed approach, delivering architectural glass solutions that enrich learning environments and support contemporary educational design.
